Product engineering studio · Islamabad, Pakistan

We design and build digital products people want to use.

From product strategy and interface design to mobile apps, web platforms and backend systems — Dayroz helps ambitious teams move from idea to launch, and keeps building after it.

Products in people’s hands

NoliX — Smart Home IoT

Five device types, each with its own telemetry, had to read as one home rather than five gadgets — and the app had to warn the owner before a leak became a repair bill, not after.

What we did

Lead mobile developer for the customer-facing app across Android and iOS: device onboarding, the unified dashboard, live telemetry, and the alerting layer that surfaces the predictive models.

LSUK — Interpreter Jobs

An interpreter between two jobs needs to see what is available, accept it, and file the paperwork from wherever they are standing — without an office visit or a desktop.

What we did

Lead mobile developer for the interpreter-facing app on Android and iOS: the assignment feed, one-tap acceptance, timesheets, work records and the salary history behind them.

Sila Elrahm — Family Network

Build a social product whose whole shape is the family: organised around family groups rather than followers, and Arabic-first rather than Arabic-translated.

What we did

Lead mobile developer on Android and iOS: family groups and their management, shared photo messaging, event coordination, task assignment, and the proximity notifications that turn a passing visit into a meeting.

Capabilities

One team, the whole way

Seven parts of a single delivery, not seven things to buy separately. The people who design a screen are the people who build it and the people who answer when it breaks.

Services in detail
01Product discovery & strategyWork out what to build, and what to build first.

You start building with the scope agreed and the risky decisions taken, instead of discovering them halfway through.

What you get

  • A written product brief: who it is for, what it has to do, what it does not
  • Feature list split into a first release and everything after it
  • User flows for the journeys that carry the product
  • Technical approach, with the constraints named up front
  • Estimate and delivery sequence you can hold us to

02UX & interface designScreens people understand without being taught.

Your product looks finished and behaves predictably, and the build starts from something everyone has already seen and agreed on.

What you get

  • Wireframes for every screen, then high-fidelity interface design
  • A design system: colour, type, spacing and components as tokens
  • Clickable prototype, so decisions get made on a real thing
  • Empty, loading and error states designed rather than improvised
  • Bilingual and right-to-left layouts where the audience needs them

03Mobile app developmentAndroid and iOS from one codebase, built to ship.

One app, both stores, one team maintaining it — instead of two codebases drifting apart.

What you get

  • Flutter or React Native app for Android and iOS
  • Offline handling, push notifications, maps, payments and in-app purchases
  • Store-ready builds: signing, listings, screenshots and review submission
  • Crash reporting and analytics wired in before launch, not after
  • 8 apps in the portfolio are public app-store releases today

FlutterReact NativeDartFirebaseGoogle Maps
04Web platformsDashboards, portals and the sites in front of them.

The people running your business get a tool that answers their question on the first screen, and your customers get a site that loads before they lose interest.

What you get

  • Admin platforms, client portals and internal dashboards
  • Role-based access, real-time data, charts and reporting
  • Marketing sites and landing pages, server-rendered for search
  • Responsive from a small phone to a widescreen monitor
  • Tight sync with the mobile app where both exist

Worked with

AngularReactVueNext.jsTypeScriptSSR
05Backend systems & APIsThe engine room: data, auth, jobs and integrations.

Your data model holds up as the product grows, and the rules that protect it are enforced where they cannot be bypassed.

What you get

  • REST API design and Node/Express services
  • Postgres and Supabase data modelling with row-level security
  • Authentication, roles and permissions enforced in the database
  • Scheduled jobs, integrations and data pipelines
  • Push notification infrastructure, end to end

06Launch & deploymentGetting it live, properly, on a day you choose.

Release day is a scheduled event with a rollback plan, not a week of firefighting.

What you get

  • Play Store and App Store listings, submission and review handling
  • Hosting, domains, TLS and environment configuration
  • Release process with versioning, staging and a way back
  • Monitoring, crash alerts and analytics you can read
  • Handover documentation and access in your own accounts

Play ConsoleApp Store ConnectDockerRailwayCloudflare
07Maintenance & product growthThe years after launch, which is most of a product’s life.

Someone who knows the codebase is still answering when a store policy changes, an SDK breaks, or the next version is due.

What you get

  • Bug triage and fixes on an agreed response time
  • OS, framework and dependency updates before they become blockers
  • New features planned in cycles rather than bolted on
  • Performance and crash-rate review against real usage
  • A roadmap revisited with you, not presented to you

How we work

Six stages, and you decide at every one

Nothing here is a black box. Each stage says what happens, what you end up holding, and the call that closes it.

  1. 01

    Discover

    Days, not weeks

We learn the business before the product: who this is for, what they do today instead, and what has to be true for it to be worth building.

    You receive
A written summary of the problem, the users and the constraints, in your words and ours.
    Together
One or two working sessions, plus whatever you already have — decks, spreadsheets, an existing app.
    Decision
Is this the right problem, and are we the right people for it?
  2. 02

    Define

    1–2 weeks

We turn the problem into a scope: the first release, what it excludes, how it is sequenced, and what it costs.

    You receive
Feature list split into release one and later, user flows, a technical approach, an estimate and a schedule.
    Together
You review the scope line by line. Anything you cut here costs nothing; cutting it later costs the build.
    Decision
Scope, price and timeline signed off before any design starts.
  3. 03

    Design

    2–4 weeks

Wireframes first, so the structure is argued about while it is still cheap. Then interface design, and a system to keep it consistent.

    You receive
Full screen designs, a design system, and a clickable prototype you can hand to a real user.
    Together
Shared Figma from day one. Review rounds are scheduled, not open-ended — usually two per flow.
    Decision
Designs approved. What is drawn is what gets built.
  4. 04

    Build

    Set in stage 02

Design, mobile, web and backend built by the same people, in slices you can open and use rather than a single delivery at the end.

    You receive
Working builds on a regular cycle — a test app on your phone, a staging URL in your browser.
    Together
A written update every week: what shipped, what is next, what is blocked. Questions answered same day.
    Decision
Each slice reviewed as it lands, so the last week holds no surprises.
  5. 05

    Launch

    1–2 weeks

Store submission, hosting, domains, monitoring and analytics — and the rehearsal that makes release day uneventful.

    You receive
The product live, in your own accounts, with handover documentation and the keys in your name.
    Together
We handle review feedback and rejections. You pick the date.
    Decision
Go live, on a day that suits your business rather than our calendar.
  6. 06

    Improve

    Ongoing

Most of a product’s life happens here: fixes, OS and SDK updates, and the next version shaped by what real usage shows.

    You receive
An agreed response time for issues, and a roadmap revisited with you each cycle.
    Together
Ongoing, on a retainer or per release — whichever fits how you plan.
    Decision
What the next version is for, decided on evidence rather than instinct.

Durations describe the shape of a typical project. The dates that bind us are the ones agreed in writing at stage 02, per project.
