A branded representation, not a screenshot — client app screens are theirs to publish, not ours.

01 The context

Language Services UK places pre-registered interpreters into face-to-face, telephone and document-translation assignments across the UK. The interpreters work in the field; the coordination did not.

02 The challenge

An interpreter between two jobs needs to see what is available, accept it, and file the paperwork from wherever they are standing — without an office visit or a desktop.

03 What Dayroz did

Lead mobile developer for the interpreter-facing app on Android and iOS: the assignment feed, one-tap acceptance, timesheets, work records and the salary history behind them.

04 Approach

  • Deliberately minimal: the app does the six things an interpreter does, and nothing an administrator would want
  • Every workflow finishable one-handed, on a phone, between appointments
  • Work records and timesheets submitted remotely, removing the office visit entirely
  • Notifications carry the job, so accepting it takes a single tap

05 The product

The field companion for pre-registered interpreters working with Language Services UK: browse and accept face-to-face, telephone and document-translation assignments, and run the whole engagement from the phone.

Live on both stores; timesheets, work records and salary documentation all submit remotely — no office visits.

06 What it does

  • Assignment feed: face-to-face, phone & document jobs
  • One-tap acceptance & remote work-record submission
  • Timesheet management
  • Job & message notifications
  • Salary records & payment history
  • Deliberately minimal, admin-free interface

07 Under the hood

  • Flutter on both stores from one codebase
  • REST integration with the agency’s existing booking system
  • Push notifications for new assignments and messages
  • Timesheet and salary records retrieved and submitted from the field
