01 The context

IoTX Tech LLC builds a family of connected sensors for the home — DripX for water leaks, PipeX for pipe monitoring, PoolX for pools, TrapX, and DustX for air quality. Hardware alone leaves the owner with five separate things to check.

02 The challenge

Five device types, each with its own telemetry, had to read as one home rather than five gadgets — and the app had to warn the owner before a leak became a repair bill, not after.

03 What Dayroz did

Lead mobile developer for the customer-facing app across Android and iOS: device onboarding, the unified dashboard, live telemetry, and the alerting layer that surfaces the predictive models.

04 Approach

  • One dashboard as the home screen, so the answer to “is everything fine?” takes no navigation
  • Each device type modelled separately underneath, presented uniformly on top
  • Alerts written to be acted on — what happened, where, and what to do — rather than raw sensor values
  • Onboarding built for a person standing next to a device with a phone in one hand
