Sample data only — every name, figure and record here is invented for the demo, and nothing talks to a backend. Every entry in the sidebar opens a working screen. On a phone, swipe the panel sideways.
01 The product
Everything a production studio needs to run itself, behind one login: the projects in flight and who is on them, what each job earned and what each contributor is owed, which leads are still open, and what the month actually made. It ships inside the studio’s own website — one Angular app serving the public pages and, behind a login, the entire back office.
Payroll is the part that has to be right. An editor’s monthly invoice is not typed in: it is their salary, the piece-rate projects they delivered that month and that month’s fines, all recomputed from the same rows the rest of the app reads, and frozen into a payout slip only when it is billed. Where several people share a project, the pot splits by the minutes each of them actually delivered — by largest remainder, so the slices add up to exactly the pot. Plain rounding loses a rupee often enough to show up in a month’s totals.
Access is enforced in the database rather than the interface. Two roles, and every finance table is row-level-security locked: the non-admin’s client gets an empty array back instead of an error, so a hidden tab is hidden for real and the app needs no special case to handle it.
02 What it does
- Thirteen role-gated boards — dashboard, projects, pipeline, clients, editors, finance, invoices, reports, outreach, blog, careers, team and notes
- Monthly invoices computed rather than entered: salary, piece-rate deliveries and fines, frozen to a payout slip at billing
- Shared projects split by minutes actually delivered, exact to the rupee
- Per-project economics with the platform fee captured at creation, so changed marketplace terms never rewrite the profit of delivered work
- Client value: lifetime revenue, true profit, and who has gone quiet
- Editor roster with leaderboard, capacity, rework and attendance
- Delivery stages — Script, Storyboard, Animation, Revisions, Final — and a lead pipeline from New to Won
- Dual-currency USD/PKR across every figure
- Append-only daily reporting: an evening edit adds an entry instead of erasing the morning’s
- Outreach that opens a prefilled Gmail compose and logs the touch, requesting no mailbox permissions
- The public site’s blog, careers and team pages, all authored from the same admin
- Finance tables locked in Postgres, so the roles that should not see money cannot read it
